Getting used to the 830 lessons everyday.
Getting used to eating my breakfast while walking from North Spine to South Spine, and feeding the ants on the floor with eggs and tomatoes from my sandwich along the way.
Getting used to eating alone at night. (Thank you Fabian & Eugene for ke lian-ing me yest!)
Getting used to bathing in the not-so-clean toilet.
I guess it's all about getting used to it?

Just came back from a mj session near Changi prison. Nope, I'm not going to complain that I've lost money because I "bao da". Haha.. I still believe in fate. It was fated for me to lose. Hahaha.. Moreover, the person whom I've lost to is Hao Ting. Dont feel the hurt at all though I couldnt believe that I was so unlucky just now. Haha..

Anyway, I had my first lesson of the semester today - Chinese Lyrics Module. I think it's very interesting! But I had to use English words to write down some of the notes as I might miss out certain points while trying to recall how to write some of the Chinese words. More than 70% of the students are ATs. So I guess it's not easy to score. Oh no.. May have to use my SU option again...

While helping out on NBS Welcome Day on Mon, I met many guys from my batch and many many of my CCHS juniors in school! It feels great to be able to see them in school again. They remind me of the days in CCHS..

Hall life is just so different now. It feels great to find out that Kevin Chua stays just 3 storeys below my room. I am also glad that Xing Wen and Fane got their rooms too. Yet, at the same time, I feel very lonely in hall. Everytime I walk pass Sok Yin, Xiu Juan or Wei Ming's room, I cant help but to be sad. I wonder how long more do I have to walk to S4, walk back to hall and have lunch and dinner....alone.

1) 2 Electives Registered!
They have given me HP805 (Chinese Lyrics) and AAU2280 (NIE Voice Production) =)

2) Classmates..... finally!
After knowing Zixin for 14 years, I am now finally in the same class as her! Although its only an elective, I am still very happy about it! Not forgetting Miss Ong Shu Qi too of course =) Hee...

After waiting for fate to bring us together in the same class for the previous 2 years, we have finally decided to depend on ourselves instead. Lol. For this sem, I am finally going for lessons with Cheng Ling for 2 of the modules, 205 and 206!

3) Doing 205 Project with Cheng Ling
Fate probably found out that we gave up on him by registering for the same classes on our own. Haha.. But now we are thankful that he has put us in the same 205 project group! This is the project group which was assigned according to the classlist!

4) New Hallmate - Kevin Chua & Kian Tiong
WELCOME TO HALL 13! Haha.. I will walk pass their room very very very often since their room is just beside the laundry room! Heard that they will be bringing a mahjong table to hall! We've agreed to play $10$20 soon. Only applicable if I win. Haha..

Many people say most of my entries are sad entries. Is it true? Haha.. In order to make this entry a happy one, I shall not elaborate on the not-very-happy part. Haha.. Actually it's just an excuse. I am too tired to continue.....

Went back to FAL to print PA reports today. As I was going back to school anyway, I thought I might as well just submit a hardcopy of my report as well since the website says so.

There were quite a number of people in FAL, yet they still insisted to switch on only ONE printer. All of us had to queue and wait for about 10 minutes for our reports to be released from that printer....

Wanted to bind the reports but it happened to be lunchtime and hence, the photocopying shop was closed. As I had to leave for the Amazing Race, I was not able to wait for the lunch hour to be over. Hence I borrowed a staple from Fabian and went to S3 to hand in the reports.

I entered from the main entrance and one of the staff approached me to help with the location of the office. She gave me directions for the few locations I had to go. But when I asked her about the location of my PA Supervisor's office, she asked me,

"Who is this? I dont think her office is here. She should be at SAO, Level 4."

In my mind I was thinking... "HUH! I have to climb up that hill? Omg."

After handing up reports for my friends in S3, I left the building by exiting from a door which lead to the stairs. I was wondering if I could climb to the highest floor so that I wont have to climb as many steps for the hill later. When I reached the top floor, I realised there wasn't a handle on the door.

I thought maybe there could just be something wrong with that particular door.

I went down the stairs to try the door below. There wasnt a handle too.

I went down another level. No handle again!

Another one down. No handle.

??????????

I was trapped at the staircase.

I went back to the door which I came from and tried to use my fingers to pull the door from the little gap between the door and the ground.

Luckily I succeeded.

It was already 1.30pm. I was late for Amazing Race but I haven hand up my report yet. I thought the fastest way would be to use the route which I am most familiar with. Hence, I took the longer route by going back to S4 first.

After reaching SAO level 4 (finally), I asked the lady at the counter for the location of the office of my PA Supervisor.

She said, "No la, her office should be at the NBS office at S3."

!!!

As the other Programmers had been waiting for 30mins already, I thought of just forgetting about the hardcopy since I have already submitted the soft copy a few days ago. Then I thought maybe I should just give my PA supervisor a call to see if she really needs the hard copy.

Me: Do I need to submit a Hardcopy?

Her: Nope, you dont have to. Btw, I know that previously I have asked you to do your elogbook and PA Report just like those who are officially having PA so that we can appeal to XXX to make this internship your official PA. However, I just want to tell you it has been decided that all Non-PA internships will not be considered. XXX has just made this decision and all of you will have to do an internship again in December. 3 weeks of lesson in Semester 2 will be affected since you will still be doing your PA by then. We encourage you to self-source..........

Me: So you mean they have rejected the idea of allowing us to appeal, which was actually what they have proposed in the first place, even before reading the reports which we have done?

Her: I know it's disappointing but yes, it's true.


Half a drop of tear lubricated my eyes.
When I made the decision to work in Credit Suisse, I know this is the price I had to pay.
It is the false hope they have created which hurts.
Thats why I choose to pessimistic... for most of the times.
