Hello people, I’m back!! Haha. I merely forgot the password to log in. Disappeared for a couple of days as I went to the Hall 13 FOC last week. And I’m glad to say I do not regret signing up!

Ok, I shall not report the 5-days activities here as I’m quite sure that will make me doze off. Anyway, I really think that the orientation programmes for most FOC are more or less the same. Ice-breaker Games, Fright Night, SP Night…

Oh yeah, SP Night. Haiz, I don’t know how to put it in words but… Well…. Ok, he can be considered nice-looking since he is representing his OG for D&D. Oh by the way, his complexion is much better than mine. But I really think he is too nice, too nice, too nice. Guess maybe only Hao Ting will understand.

Anyway, NTU has started its new school term this week. After the very first lecture I’ve attended, my ‘AJ Nerd’ button has been activated. I also concluded that I really need to know more about the business world or I wont be able to fully understand the lectures. Hence, I withdrawn a sum of $ from my drained bank account and subscribed to Fortune, a business magazine. Just when I thought that my bank account is already pitiful enough, the lecturer announced a list of textbooks. And this list is only for ONE subject. To minimize the cost, I’m purchasing second-hand textbooks from my HGL, Paul. However, there are some new edition textbooks which I still have to buy.

I’ve also bought a Fujitsu laptop after applying the Computer Loan. In order to be able to repay the loan within 3 years, I have to save $80 per month from now on.

Tuition, tuition, tuition. I think I can never give them up. Currently, I’ve 3 students. I’m really afraid I won’t be able to cope as schoolwork becomes heavier…

*Thank Of The Weeks*

Would like to thank Paul, Lauretta, Jun Xiang, Royston, Yu Rong, Olivia, Eddie and Yang Min who looked after us during the camp. Even though we kept on losing, you guys never gave up on us. The care that we’ve received from all of you really made many of us thought that we had been to heaven. Ever heard of seniors who would walk all the way to the supermarket to buy food for the hungry juniors at 2.00am? Ever heard of seniors who are so concerned about their juniors even if it is just a mosquito bite? Ever heard of seniors who slept at 5am in the morning and woke up at 7am just to accompany his juniors to the office for matriculation matters? Ever seen a senior who never fails to entertain his juniors by playing all sorts of silly roles for all to laugh at? Ever seen a senior who took trouble to keep packets of Strepsils in his bag, reminding juniors who have sore throat to eat those lozenges every now and then? Oh my god I cant believe I met these people in just a camp. Furthermore, the above mentioned are just part of what they have done. I had really been to heaven.

Would also like to thank Perfect 5 for all the arrangements on my birthday. Millions of apologies for having it all cancelled in the end. Was really not feeling well due to the high fever. Sorry + Thank you very much!!

To my SP, thank you for taking care of me that night.

*Brithday Wishes*
Happy birthday to my roommate, Hao Ting who is one-day older than me. Also, happy birthday to Wan Ying who is one-day younger than me! Hehe.. Brithday celebrations are in the air~!

I collected my keys for the hostel today. I was quite satisfied with the exterior appearance of the building until I arrived at my room on level 5.

Four pairs of dirty shoes were lying outside the room. At first, Hao Ting and I thought that maybe the previous resident was still inside. We decided to open the door to check it out. This was what we saw:

1. A stack of dirty clothes on the floor that is of the same height of my knees (Ok, I know I’m short but it’s still a lot of stupid clothes!)
2. A TV set (Small, dusty.. Wondering it can work. Haven’t try yet. Most probably not working)
3. Notes scattering on the floor (Engineering notes)
4. One big box of shoes and slippers (Adidas, Fila………..)
5. One whole stack of old newspaper (Dearest Garang-gunis, heard that?)
6. Few coins on the floor
7. DIRT and DUST

Juniors who are considering to stay in hostel, please do think twice or even thrice.

Before Hao Ting and I can even start cleaning, we had to spend time clearing all the rubbish. I thought clearing the dirty clothes could be the most irritating thing to do until the branded underwear appeared. OMG..

Hello, you don’t have to leave all these branded stuffs for us to acknowledge that you are rich! Please spend some money buying some responsibility pills for your heart and mind.

Having all the branded rubbish thrown out of the room is not the end of the rubbish story yet. We had to carry all this rubbish from level 5 all the way downstairs..

Hao Ting and I have already found out these two idiots’ names. One of them is an Accountancy student. Pray hard that you won’t get to meet us..

Dear Tu Dis, get ready for action~! Haha..

*Thank of the day*
If not for Hao Ting’s father, we would have taken a much longer time to carry the rubbish downstairs. Thanks, uncle! Oh ya, thanks for fetching me too! =)

One of my students has obtained 100 marks in her Maths class test! This is the first time she has achieved a grade better than B4. Hope that she will continue to work hard =) Of course, many factors have contributed to this achievement. I probably only played the smallest role as I only see her at most twice a week. Nevertheless, it’s still good news for her, her mum, her brother, her maths teacher and her tutor (me)!

Next week will be a busy one as I will be occupied by the Halls Camp. This is the only camp that I will be attending out of the hundreds of camps stated in the thick Orientation Package. Hence I really hope that it will not disappoint me by having similar programme like that of AJC Orientation. I will run away from Boon Lay after midnight! Taxi drivers who just can’t find customers can consider driving around Boon Lay next week..

*Thank of the day*
As I had tuition in the afternoon, I could not make it to NTU today. Would like to thank Perfect 3 for helping me settle the Hostel Acceptance Fee today, especially Sharon who has helped me pay for the 300 bucks first.

*Brithday message*
Happy birthday to Choi Harn! She is the scholar of 13/03. Haha she would always scold me for calling her a scholar but she really possesses the scholar qualities. You can see that from her face. Haha.. Although she is already very clever, she does not sleep in class unlike someone. Y*Yu*, I’m just stating the truth..=P

Had lunch with Eunice and Monika today. Zhenru was supposed to come but she had rashes in the morning. Hope that she is feeling better now..

The 3 of us went to Long John Silver for lunch. Eunice kept complaining she was not full so we went to Shop n Save to buy chocolates. My nightmare began there…

Eunice and Monika started singing like those people in choir. As usual, they sang LOUDLY such that people from 1km away can hear. (The whole batch of AJ ’03 will understand =) ) Obviously, it attracted attention from staffs and customers of the supermarket. Since I wasn’t singing, I felt the pressure to do something when people started to look at us. So I started to “Shhhhhh…..”

Then Monika decided to record “Chun Zhen” from Eunice’s mobile. After all the unsuccessful attempts, the 3 of us went to the handicapped cubicle so that Mon can have a peaceful recording. It was quite hard to control our laughter..

*Thank of the day!*
Ahem.. I would like to thank CHAN EUNICE GRACE who lives in Y*sh**. Haha… thanks for all the laughter throughout these 2.5 years. The thought of you simply links to “Hahaha”. Oh ya, I promised to thank you for putting me at the second position on your link section. Back in the JC days, she was my Chemistry group leader! Thanks imparting your knowledge to me.. Oh ya.. Something special about us is that our grades were always the same last year (except for GP). Hey, sorry for pulling your grades down to my standard. Haha..

She was always there when I failed my GP. Not forgetting the card that she rushed to the bookshop to buy for me when I was so discouraged that time. Thanks girl! You rockz!

*Birthday Message*

I didn’t expect this day to arrive.

I had been puzzled over why people would want to share their private matters with the whole world. I remember discussing with Wan Ying and Zong Rong on why people blog. I remember I share the same conclusion as Wan Ying that we will never go into blogging. Not too long ago, Eunice and I were also wondering why people blog before she created one a few weeks ago…

Some factors that have secreted the “I should be a blogger” hormone in me:
1) I have tooooo much time to spend (Only applicable to NOW)
2) I have been fascinated by entries of some bloggers (Cruz, Sharon, Eunice..)
3) I want to create a platform for myself to thank people I ought to thank, sincerely. (This is definitely not as sincere as a ‘Thank You’ card but better than a SMS right?)

Some factors that pulled me back:
1) How long is my dial-up connection going to load?
2) The whole world is going to witness that I am lousy in terms of design and drawing. (Though most of my friends know that from my trademark stickman)
3) Will I be involved in copyright infringement lawsuits if I accidentally use some copyrighted trademarks in my entries?
4) What if anonymous strangers start scolding me because they don’t agree with me?

The strongest reason that can counter-attack these negative points would be:
Why bother so much when no one will be reading your blog? Don’t think too much!

Ok, enough of introduction.

<2005 Goodbye Singapore Concert>
9 Jul was a day that I’ve been looking forward to. It was the first time I used my hard-earned money to purchase a concert ticket. Yet, it was the last time you could see the 4 of them performing together within these few years.

Yup, I believe people who are concerned about them would know that Ady is going behind-the-scenes to pursuit his production dream. However, I have been thinking if this is just the surface. The other 3 don’t seem to have a clear vision of the path that they will be going through. They only remarked that they would send themselves for recharging. Moreover, they kept mentioning that they wonder when they will be able to perform on stage again…

You may be wondering why I should waste time on some people who don’t even know me. Indeed, I would have agreed with you if I were still in my secondary school days. I don’t really fancy idols back then as I had too many commitments to keep me busy. Yet, in my JC days, I seem to have lost the EnErGy and interest to many things around me. That was why I indulged myself into textbooks and lecture notes most of the time. Then there was this day when my 1st 3 months PDG tutor asked the class to who their idols are. Having realised that some of us don’t really fancy idols, my teacher said with a rather serious tone that this should not be the way. He explained that we should make good use of this young age to fancy idols boldly or we may regret. (He then added on that his idol is A-do. Hehe..) Furthermore, he explained that whoever the idol can be, he or she or they can be a powerful source of EnErGy that can push you further in your studies. I guess I did not agree with him before I start ‘chasing after’ EnErGy.. Haha.. At the age of 17, I started queuing up for autograph..

On this rainy day, Jing Ting and I went to Funan Mall at around 12pm for the session that started at 7.30pm. Before it started raining, we were reading our organic chem notes while we queued. =) It was only around 10pm, if I’m not wrong, that we were finally on stage for the autograph.

Me: Kunda, zhu ni kao shi na yi bai fen! (Trying to say something special to attract his attention. Haha. Childish!)

Kunda: *Smile* Ni men ye yao jia you o..

Stupid as it may seem, but this sentence from Kunda really spurred me on whenever I was discouraged from the Ds and Es I obtained. Moreover, as they come to Singapore about once every 3 months, their arrival each time has always been something for me to look forward to. For example, if they are coming next week, I will diligently read up lecture notes beforehand or study for a 3-weeks-later test so that I can ‘waste’ time on them later.

Back to the present moment, who is going to “add oil” in me after they disappear? I don’t know how long I can depend on the old songs and memories. This is also the main reason why tears can row down even when I was watching a 10 seconds advertisement of their latest album last week. ( I can feel that Eunice is scolding me ‘stupid’ now.. =P)

Let’s hope that magic can heal Ady’s spinal cord as soon as possible while the rest remain healthy..

Just a bit more that is more related to today:
Sharon was kind enough to accompany to their autograph session at J8 today. This is the 4th and tentatively the last EnErGy’s autograph session that I have attended. For the very first time, I praised Shu Wei and that has reduced the guilt in me. Haha I think I better don’t write the history between Shu Wei and I here or I will be beaten up by DJD..

*Thank of the day!*
Hey Sharon, thanks for you company! Your legs worked for about 5 hours in J8 today. Even after queuing, you accompanied me to their bus for the eye opening ‘farewell ceremony’ without any complain. Really appreciate that. Thanks!!
